Hidden Veggie Spaghetti

A deliciously thick spaghetti sauce by blending in a medley of colorful vegetables!

  • Stock Pot
  • Chopping Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • pan
  • Stirring & Serving spoon
  • Blender
  • 12 oz Pasta (like spaghetti or linguini)
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2–3 carrots (chopped)
  • 1/2 head broccoli (chopped)
  • 1 yellow pepper (chopped)
  • 1 red pepper (chopped)
  • 1 zucchini (chopped)
  • 1 lb gound turkey
  • 1 24 oz pasta sauce (home made or store bought)
  1. Add 12 oz pasta to boiling water. Cook according to package instructions

  2. Heat large to medium pan over medium heat. Add olive oil.

  3. Add vegetables. Cook til tender.

  4. Pour cooked vegetables into blender.

  5. Add 1 lb ground turkey to pan.

  6. Break up chunks with spatula. Cook until no longer pine (5–10 minutes)

  7. Pour pasta sauce into blender.

  8. Blend until smooth.

  9. Add sauce to turkey. Reduce heat to low. allow sauce to simmer until warm.

  10. Top with fresh herbs or cheese.
